The Leo's Club is growing in numbers! They have excitedly pulled together with their own ideas since first established in 2002. With the help of the Lion's Club, they've executed fund raisers and given to charities that hit close to home AND far away. In 2007-2008 so far they have made bracelets and sold them to help efforts in Darfur. Furthermore collected items for care packages and sent them to deployed soldiers for Christmas 2007. Accompanied by a homemade poster with Thank You's and well wishes for the holidays. Creatively the Leo's raised almost $2,000 for a "Walk for Diabetes", when a local students mother passed. Every year for 12 years they have sponsored the concession stand at Ultimania
Currently they are planning a dinner in which all proceeds will go to help Autism NOW.. Details will be posted.

Ultimania at the Warwick Valley High school.....
It's family entertainment at its finest. For twelve years, Warwick Lions/ Leo's and Warwick Valley Teachers Association have joined together to sponsor Ultamania Basketball On March 7, 7 pm at the Warwick Valley High School 2008. All proceeds of the game are designated to help the community. Warwick Lions utilize their allocation to support a variety of people needing special services. The WVTA organization designates their half of the profits to supplement existing scholarships for graduating seniors.
