Our History
Since its founding in 1917, Lions Clubs International has provided individuals with meaningful opportunities to give back to their communities. Established in 1948, the Warwick Lions Club continues this proud tradition through the dedication and service of local volunteers.
Sight and hearing remain two of the Lions' core missions, but our club also supports a wide range of additional community initiatives through annual projects and fundraising events.
With more than 1.4 million members worldwide, Lions Clubs International is the largest service organization of its kind. From local efforts such as park cleanups to global initiatives that restore vision and improve quality of life, Lions members are united by a shared commitment to building a brighter future for all.
Today, with over 46,000 clubs across 192 countries and geographic regions, Lions continue to expand their reach and impact—addressing the growing needs of communities both locally and around the world.
